I fell in love with a vintage(1973) nursery mobile by Fisher Price, and some vintage wooden spools of thread.
The mobile is attached to The Kid's easel. We have enjoyed the soothing sounds of "Brahm's Lullaby", as we draw or paint, immensely!
All but two have wooden spools.
I must be a terrible googler, because I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how old these are. Mom thinks maybe they are from the 1950's. Does anybody out there know for sure?
I bought them to keep on hand for inspiration. I think they look fun displayed in one of the Ball glass jars, tucked in between the collection of shells we picked up at High Island and the terrarium we created for The Kid's birthday.
I love thrifting.
