The Scarf Sabbatical Continues

***If you are a family member(Hi, Mom!) best not read anymore of my posts until after Christmas. Unless you want to know what I bought you/made you. In that case, read on!

So, as it turns out, the previously blogged about scarf sabbatical was not over. I made two more as Christmas gifts.

This one is a cotton mobius scarf for a fellow artist friend, who is also an art professor, and has known The Husband since childhood. The colors are so bright and warm, I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I thought it might be funny for my Mom to have something crocheted by me, so I whipped up this infinity scarf. It is one strand of pink cotton and a strand of variegated browns, then a few rows of a variegated brown with blue, just to add a little bit of interest.

I hope she likes it, but since she is my mom, I know she'll say she does, even if she doesn't. Heh.

I made both of these weeks ago, but if you're still in need of a last minute gift for giving, you can stitch one of these up fairly quickly.

I'm just guessing here, but I think a person who is not chasing a nosey baby around the house and/or breastfeeding a kicking, pinching, armpit digging into baby(am I the only one with a kid who constantly digs into her armpits?!) every hour through a growth spurt, could get one of these done in a couple hours.

And with that, I'm declaring scarf season OVER.

Time to make new stuff!
