Art Attack

I haven't posted many photos of artwork lately, but I have been doing some sketches and I do have an oil painting in progress. I hope to be a little more devoted to my first love this summer, but with three craft shows coming up, I think the paint and pens will be pushed to the back burner for awhile.

This marker sketch was the inspiration for the embroidery piece I am working on.

And here's my big project. This is the first oil painting I have worked on in several months. It's not me, but it is based on a photo of me that was taken before my junior prom...blech. I am really, really hoping to spend more time painting this summer. Even if it means getting less sleep!

Coming from me, them's some fightin' words right there. I am a girl who definitely needs her sleep.
