What We're Working On Today

We're thinking spring, despite the freezing temps here.

So in celebration of the warm weather to come(I'm hoping), he're what we are working on today.

I've got a pretty button embroidery, inspired by those fruity mini-marshmallows you buy at the grocery store. I've never cared for the taste, but they are soooo pretty.

I've also got some new floral brooches in the works. I've ordered some special centers for these pins, but they aren't here yet. I want to have plenty of these pretty pieces in stock before I start on my new line of patchwork art dolls.

The Kid also has a project to finish up, before we start stamping Valentine cards. She's working on a set of wooden butterfly chimes that she received for Christmas.

Hopefully we will get at least a couple of these projects finished up so we can start on something new. I've heard that a warm up is in store for the later part of this week, and if that's the case, there will be little to no crafting going on as we will be getting outside to shake our wiggles out.

I hope all of you are keeping warm and busy on this cold, cold, cold day.

And if it is not cold where you are, shut up. Just, shut up. Ha.
